As the last person from our company the customer sees, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of a variety of hard and soft window treatments including motorized / automated solutions. This role requires you to be a trouble shooter, adjusting the installation and finding a solution when necessary. We dont take ourselves too seriously, but we take our jobs very seriously. You should have a customer service orientation and great communication skills.

Well ask you to collect balances due, instruct the customer on how to operate and clean their new window treatments, make simple repairs, and always leave the home better, and cleaner, than you found it. You will be working with 1 or 2 additional installers depending on the job type and size. We are a true local small business where you will be working with the 2 owners on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Installation assistance of all types of window treatments at residential and commercial job sites; products include but are not limited to blinds, shutters, shades, draperies, and motorized window treatments. You will not be tasked with any kind of install by yourself where you haven't been given adequate training or information.
• Coordinate with the franchise owners to resolve any difficult installs or issues.
• Repair broken or damaged products and work with franchise owners to resolve issues as necessary.
• Measure homes and businesses for window treatments if customer requests additional orders while on installation.
• Check-in freight, label, and organize the warehouse.
• Load and unload work van on install days. Dumpster at warehouse to take care of the day's trash.
• Clean and organize van back after work day unless owner is installing with you he will take care of that.
