Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : Minimum 14 / day Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : HIV Primary Care, Diabetes, Hypertension, COPD, Urgent Care EMR System : TBD Office Equipment Available : Standard outpatient tools Specialty Backup Available : Yes Support Staff Available : Nursing, Care Managers, Front Office Reason for Coverage : Provider Support Credentialing Timeline : TBD Competitive Salary Retention and Quarterly Bonus CME / Conference Time / Professional Membership Vacation Sick Leave Primary care management for common chronic and acute conditions HIV / AIDS clinical care Review of labs, imaging, and consultant notes Medication refill authorizations Licenses : Valid medical license Certifications : DEA, BLS, AAHIVM within 12 months of hire Other Qualifications : Board Certification preferred Provide HIV Primary Care and manage common primary care conditions Maintain productivity of 14 patients per 8-hour day Ensure timely completion of notes and charge entries Collaborate with nursing and front office for urgent care / walk-ins Respond to refill requests and patient communication in a timely manner Supervise allied professionals as applicable Participate in after-hours call coverage as needed Complete retention reports and support clinic retention efforts Maintain certification and continuing education
