Description :

Contract position for an Occupational Therapist.

Duration is 13 weeks, Monday through Thursday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.

No on-call duties required.

Inpatient Rehab experience is preferred.

Neuro experience is required, with outpatient neuro experience being ideal.

Candidates will work with a variety of diagnoses for acute inpatient rehabilitation stays.

May also be assigned patients in an acute setting if necessary.

The unit consists of 12 beds and has a staff of 6.

The patient ratio is 4 patients per therapist.

The equipment includes a gym with hi / low parallel bars, lifts, Nu-Step, ADL kitchen, and bathroom.

The team is cohesive and collaborative, working closely together to ensure patient and family needs are met.

The goal is to help patients return home as independent as possible.

This unit has achieved high rates of patient satisfaction and quality metrics.

Flexible, cheerful, and motivational personality traits are desirable.

Dress code requires Caribbean blue scrubs.
