This is a remote position.

Job Summary

As a Technical Product Support Engineer, you will provide technical support for startup, operation, service, and training of Trane mag bearing and modular equipment. You will assist technicians in troubleshooting, guide remotely, and ensure safety and effective resolution of issues, applying electrical, thermodynamics, and refrigeration knowledge.

What you will do :

  • Provide remote technical support to field service agencies and internal teams.
  • Review and originate solutions for technical problems.
  • Troubleshoot Chillers remotely and analyze data for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support customers and improve products.
  • Travel up to 20% for troubleshooting, training, and support.
  • Perform root cause analysis and contribute to training and literature development.
  • What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, with 10+ years experience in HVAC or an equivalent combination.
  • At least 5 years' experience with mag bearing technology.
  • Key Competencies

  • Electrical troubleshooting skills, knowledge of low voltage drives, customer service experience, and ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Compensation

    Base pay : $120,000 - $150,000. Actual pay may vary based on location and experience.
