Cultural Property Security Officer
Bowdoin College's Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum is dedicated entirely to all things Arctic, particularly focusing on the explorations of Bowdoin graduates, Robert E. Peary and Donald B. MacMillan. The museum houses a variety of exhibits that include artifacts from Arctic expeditions, historical documents, photographs, and Native Alaskan and Inuit materials. In addition, the museum offers insights into the scientific and environmental challenges of the region. The museum is a part of Bowdoin's commitment to education and research in the Arctic and polar regions. The Cultural Property Security Officer for the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum is responsible for public safety, property protection, and for maintaining order and securing conditions within the Museum and on the Museum grounds.
