This position requires residence in Maryland and the ability to work on-site at our client's Baltimore, MD (Canton neighborhood) office 2-3 days per week. Occasional travel to local healthcare provider offices will also be required.

Overview & Responsibilities

Join a dedicated Government Programs quality team at a leading healthcare organization. We are seeking two skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Review Nurses for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to perform medical record reviews and data abstraction, playing a vital part in the HEDIS process to improve healthcare quality and outcomes. You will…

Perform detailed abstractions of clinical data from member medical records.

Review and extract key information from provider records to support HEDIS quality measures.

For experienced candidates, conduct overreads of abstracted charts to ensure accuracy.

Occasionally travel to local provider offices to collect and manage medical records.

Required Qualifications

Must possess an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.

A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on clinical experience is required.

Must reside in the state of Maryland.

Demonstrated experience navigating Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel .

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with HEDIS chart abstraction and review.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Experience using EPIC or CareSeed software.
