Director, Quality

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Director of Quality for a 250+ bed hospital in California. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Providing leadership, direction, and implementation of all quality / performance improvement (PI) activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting body requirements and organizational goals, encompassing the performance of the medical staff, nursing staff, and support services.
• Oversees the functioning of the Medical Staff (peer review) Excellence Committee, including coordination of peer review, periodic practitioner performance reviews, and focused practitioner performance review.
• Coordinates activities of the Quality and Safety Committee as well as JC activities.
