Salary : $80,000-$120,000 to start based on experience and expertise

Job Description :

As a Senior Tax Accountant at Hall CPA Group LLP, you will play a key role in providing high-quality tax preparation and advisory services to our diverse client base. You will work closely with both individual and business clients to manage their tax filings, identify tax planning opportunities, and ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and LLC tax returns

Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance

Work with clients to gather necessary financial data and resolve tax-related issues

Provide tax planning advice for both individuals and small businesses

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax returns

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax changes and apply them effectively

Assist with the development and mentorship of junior staff members

Utilize Lacerte tax software to prepare, review, and file tax returns

Organize and manage multiple client portfolios, ensuring deadlines are met

Work on a variety of tax-related projects, including audits, tax projections, and consulting services

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in public accounting or a CPA firm

Extensive experience with tax preparation, including both individual and business tax returns

Proficiency in Lacerte tax software is required

Strong computer skills and familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

CPA license preferred, but not required
