Volt is immediately hiring for a skilled Packaging Technician in San Marcos, CA.
As a skilled Packaging Technician you will :
- Perform kitting, liquid and powder filling, labeling, and lyophilization processes.
- Set up and operate automated filling, labeling, and packaging equipment.
- Set up and operate manual portable filling equipment for liquid and powder products.
- Execute daily production tasks according to the established schedule.
- Accurately complete and verify batch records and related documentation.
- Read, follow, and sign off on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Ensure all processes comply with GMP, QSR, and company quality standards.
- Accurately count, label, and return all materials per inventory control procedures.
- Wash, assemble, and autoclave parts, tubing, and components for filling applications.
- Clean and maintain Controlled Environment Rooms (CERs), dry rooms, and production equipment.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of all tools, equipment, and work areas after project completion.
- Assist in the lyophilization (freeze-drying) process according to company procedures.
- Support training of new personnel and ensure proper adherence to operational standards.

The ideal candidate will have :
Previous biotech , cleanroom , or product inspection experience preferred.Demonstrates adherence to departmental policies, procedures, objectives , and safety standards .Ability to wear a half-face respirator for extended periods of time.Strong English communication skills , both verbal and written, to follow detailed instructions.Basic mathematical proficiency for measurements, counts, and calculations.Computer literate with the ability to enter data accurately and navigate production software.Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Demonstrated ability to meet production and packaging schedules efficiently.High attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation and processes.Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Adaptable to rapidly changing processes, priorities, or production environments.Ability to set up, troubleshoot, and understand the basic operation of department machinery and equipment.Pay Rate : $24.00-26.00 / hr
