A Brief Overview
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients / families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Hours are 7 to 530 M-F\nCall is Saturday 930 p to 7 a\nSunday call is 24 rotating depending on staffing levels but you are the back up for Sundays \nGet paid $3 an hour for call and then Time and half when you would come in.
This position will support our East Regions - Tripoint, Lake West, Portage, Ahuja and Geauga locations.

Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, BSN preferredCurrent RN licensure in the State of Ohio requiredProfessional Certification from approved organization preferredCurrent BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association or must be obtained during Nursing Orientation

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency)\n
Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency)\n \n
Licenses and Certifications

Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and / or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire) and\n
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire)\n
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on clinical area standards.\n
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required based on clinical area standards.\n \n
