Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Parkersburg, WV (26101) – West Virginia nursing jobs Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital, Float Pool (ICU, Step-down, Med / Surg) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 23, 2026 Shift : 12-hour nights (7pm – 7 : 30am), weekends as scheduled Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary : $1970-$2110 Employment Type : Travel RN, Travel Nursing Charting System : EPIC Scrub Color : Royal Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state) – Registered Nurse jobs BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience Step-down nursing experience preferred Competency to float to ICU, Step-down, and Med / Surg units Ability to titrate IV drips in step-down areas Strong clinical assessment and communication skills RN Responsibilities Float between inpatient units based on daily assignment and nursing competency Deliver high-quality patient care to cardiac, ortho / neuro, surgical, and medical patients Monitor and titrate IV drips (Heparin, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, and more) Collaborate with nurse aides, monitor techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Read and interpret cardiac monitor strips (CVU reads own strips) Utilize CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilator equipment as appropriate Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC Participate in unit / department orientation (3-4 shifts) Work every other weekend and holidays as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team and explore travel nursing jobs in Parkersburg, WV!
