Founded in 1898, St. Joseph Country Club (SJCC) is the oldest country club west of the Mississippi River and home to an A.W. Tillinghast-designed championship course. We host premier events like the Missouri Amateur and Highland Invitational, pairing classic Midwestern hospitality with year-round golf, dining, and family-friendly experiences. As St. Joseph's only all-inclusive event venue, SJCC blends history, community, and modern amenities to create an exceptional place to work and belong.

Our recent transformation features a state-of-the-art ballroom and patio, a five-star kitchen with a Michelin style Chefs Table experience, and refreshed facilities including a redesigned 13th hole. And the upgrades aren't stopping there - next come a Tournament House "Stay and Play" villa, pickleball courts, a Golf Museum Room, and continued enhancements across our clubhouse and grounds. JOB SUMMARY

The Membership & Marketing Director drivers membership growth, retention, and brand visibility while aligning with the club's vision of tradition meeting innovation. This role manages the full membership lifecycle - from prospecting and onboarding to engagement and retention - while developing marketing strategies to promote SJCC's golf, dining, and member experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead membership recruitment, tours, referral programs, and events.
• Develop and implement integrated and marketing campaigns (digital, print, social).
• Manage CRM system for tracking leads, conversions, and retention metrics.
• Collaborate with the GM, Membership Committee, and Events Coordinator.
• Promote private events and banquets in partnership with F&B and Events teams.
• Manage brand assets, social media, and club communications.
• Act as the club's visible brand ambassador, engaging members and community partners.
• Support new member onboarding and engagement initiatives.

Location : St. Joseph, Missouri

Pay Range : $50,000-$60,000 base + commission (mid-$60K+ total potential)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Schedule : Primarily weekday; occasional evening / weekend events
