ID : 74317954 Shift : 12H Nights 7p-7a, EOW first to float Description : Unit scheduling cannot be accommodatedDuos will not be guaranteed the same schedule as the facility will schedule them as needed by the unit.- Unit : ER- # beds : 24 + Beds (Mid levels staff fast track)- Certs : \"BLS, ACLS, PALS, & NIHSSRN's require 'Moderate Conscious Sedation' comp testing prior to start. \"- Ratios : 1 to 4- EMR : Cerner FirstNet- Charge Nurse : Yes- Nurse Aides : PCT- Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend- Holidays : Work into the perm staff rotation- Scrub Color : Navy - Tele : Phillips- Vents : Yes- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house : Yes 24 / 7- IV Team : No- RT 24 / 7 : Yes- Pharmacy 24 / 7 : Pharm in ER during the day - Shifts : 12's - Varying start times : Days - 7a, 8a, 9a; Mids - 10a, 11a, 1p, 3p; Nights - 4p, 5p, 7p- Floating : No- Floor specific orientation : 2 Shifts- Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Busy ER - Seeing an average of 150 patients per day. Typical ER patients.Acute / Emergent. Mix of adults & Peds. Patients that require a higher level of care are transported out to Valley Medical Center in San Jose. Psych holds are held for a short amount of time. - Additional Notes : At least 2 years of experience. Need to be ready to jump in. Have a large homeless population. Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN License to Trauma Level : Care Shift , EOW first to float Required , BLS, COVID Vaccine Required, NIHSS, PALS Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Contract Weeks : 91
