We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assistant to ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met consistently. This role involves performing routine quality checks on raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials, in accordance with company and regulatory standards. You will be part of a dynamic team ensuring the highest level of quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
  • Assist in preparing the production line for shift start-up, including bringing necessary equipment.
  • Follow all GMPs and monitor GMP practices in production rooms.
  • Ensure line and equipment cleanliness before the start of the day and after each break.
  • Conduct portion control weights and make machine adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform scale accuracy, label checks, and quality checks at the line.
  • Cooperate with all aspects of the safety program and complete all related training.
  • Report near misses and hazardous conditions to supervisors or the safety team.
  • Conduct environmental checks, including swabbing randomly selected areas every two hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.75 / hr.
