We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, drive business growth, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager reports directly to the Owner / CEO and manages all aspects of company operations, including staff leadership, performance monitoring, service quality, and business development. This role requires operational excellence, strategic vision, and hands-on leadership to expand market presence and ensure sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day operations across all service lines, ensuring consistent, high-quality service.Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies to maintain operational readiness.Analyze AR, AP, and cash flow to identify process improvements.Train, mentor, and support field and office staff.Manage emergency service scheduling and readiness.Daily & Weekly Oversight
Review Workiz data, financial reports, and performance metrics.Plan daily priorities for administrative, sales, and operational tasks.Support staff by resolving challenges and workflow obstacles.Track weekly sales performance, advertising results, and job completion rates.Ensure timely follow-up on leads and efficient job closures.Monthly Reporting & Analysis
Generate revenue and sales performance reports.Review P&L statements, expenses, and cash flow to maintain profitability.Submit end-of-month bookkeeping and royalty reports.Network with referral sources to drive new business.Business Growth & Strategy
Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue and expand market reach.Identify new partnerships, opportunities, and key client relationships.Monitor market trends and adjust operations and marketing strategies.Maintain strong relationships with referral partners.Sales & Client Relations
Drive lead generation through outreach, networking, and relationship management.Negotiate and close service agreements aligned with client needs.Ensure high customer satisfaction and address concerns effectively.Collaborate with sales teams on tailored proposals and service plans.Marketing & Branding
Work with marketing team on digital campaigns (Google, Thumbtack, Angis List, HomeAdvisor).Represent the company at community and industry events.Track and optimize online marketing performance and ROI.Reporting & Performance Tracking
Develop systems to track KPIs, sales, and client acquisition.Utilize CRM software for reporting, follow-ups, and data analysis.Provide consistent updates to ownership on growth and performance.Qualifications
5+ years in operations management, preferably in restoration, construction, or service industries.Strong understanding of P&L, AR / AP, and business analytics.Proven leadership, project coordination, and business development skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in CRM software (Workiz preferred) and Microsoft Office.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.Key Skills
