Clinical Dietitian

Location : Houston, TX

Pay Rate : $39 / hr

Shift : Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM

Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking a Clinical Dietitian. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive nutritional assessments, developing individualized care plans, and delivering patient and family education to support optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities :

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nutritional care plans for patients.

Provide age-appropriate nutritional assessments for all patients identified at nutritional risk, including diabetes management and education per established guidelines.

Adapt nutrition plans to meet patients' economic, social, cultural, and age-specific needs.

Reassess patients at appropriate intervals and adjust care plans as needed.

Provide age-appropriate education to support nutritional care plans.

Assess learning needs and readiness to learn for patients and families.

Participate in the development and review of educational materials and departmental resources to meet the needs of the populations served.

Qualifications :

Education & Credentials (Required) :

Registered Dietitian (RD) - Commission on Dietetic Registration

Licensed Dietitian (LD) - Texas Department of Licensing

Bachelor's Degree

Skills & Experience :

Strong knowledge of nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, and pediatrics.

Ability to identify nutritional deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.

Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and nutrition-related computer programs.
