Opportunity Highlights Contract Type : Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine Start Date : ASAP Duration : Long-term (6 months) Shifts : 12-hour shifts | 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM Monthly Commitment : 14 shifts / month Support Model : Physician on days, APP overnight coverage Travel : Covered Emergency Department Profile Annual Volume : 4,380 visits Beds : 16 ED Beds | 12 Hospital Beds Patient Volume : ~1 patient / hour Trauma Designation : No trauma designation EMR : Meditech Magic Staffing : Physician 7a–7p | APP 7p–7a Supervision : APP support model Backup Coverage : Full hospital team including Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Hematology / Oncology, Internal Medicine, OB / GYN, Orthopedics, Pathology, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Radiology, Urology, and Vascular Surgery Candidate Requirements Board Certification / Eligibility : ABEM / AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM / AOBIM with active ED experience Certifications : ACLS, BLS (ATLS / PALS preferred) Experience : Minimum 1 year EM experience; clean file preferred Licensure : Active NC Medical License or in-process (hospital will support pending license applications) Why This Role?
