Job title : CNC Machinist

Reports to : CNC Supervisor

Supervisory responsibilities : None.

Summary / objective : Produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

Essential functions :

• Download programs and MDI (Manual Data Input) as needed.
• Setup and machine to the proper programs and tolerances required.
• Recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and make adjustments as needed to achieve the best possible results.
• Maintain appropriate tools and keep current on calibration.
• Keep work area clean.
• Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
• Regular attendance at work during scheduled work hours.
• Employees may be requested to perform other job functions as required.
• Operate overhead cranes

Physical demands :

Position type and expected hours of work : Full time, weekend day-shift. Friday through Sunday 5 : 00 am – 5 : 15 pm.

Travel : None.
