⚡ Marketing Director

💰 $200K-$225K Salary Range

🌍 On-Site (Palo Alto, California, United States)

We are partnered with a newly launched biotech ($MM seed-round), founded by A-listers in tech & science, who are the first-movers in a revolutionary space building interconnected large-scale Foundation Models to solve various problems across biology (from drug discovery & synthetic biology through to population genetics and beyond!)

Already with several models released, and onboarding Tier1 talent from the likes of Meta, Google labs and top AI + Bio companies.

At 45+ headcount and rapidly growing, it's a great time to join! They are hiring for a Senior Marketing Manager - someone with a strong understanding of AI technology, and hands-on with technical writing and developing PR + engagement.

They'll look to match or better FAANG packages!

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with company goals and growth objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, events, and content.
  • Drive SEO strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and backlink strategy.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies to craft compelling narratives and secure media coverage.
  • Partner with technical writers and subject matter experts to produce in-depth blogs, whitepapers, and case studies.
  • Organize and manage participation in conferences, webinars, and industry events.
  • Partner with engineering, product, business development, and leadership teams to align marketing initiatives with company priorities.
  • Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Qualifications :

  • 7 Years minimum experience of marketing in tech companies, ideally in tech, AI, and biotech.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, seamlessly shifting between big-picture thinking and detailed implementation.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and executing cohesive, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Skilled storyteller with a talent for turning complex AI and technology concepts into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Proven ability in collaborating with PR agencies and well-versed in media relations, press cycles, and the development of thought leadership.
  • Outstanding skills in communication, teamwork, and project management.
  • Driven by a passion for AI, technology, and innovation, with the ability to excel in fast-paced, constantly changing environments.
  • Experience with Cloudflare (DNS, caching, SSL, firewall management)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (nice to have)
