Job descriptionManage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of the Intensivist Conduct daily rounding, patient management, and order entry Admit patients and provide post-operative management Perform procedures such as arterial line placement, central line placement, swan ganz catheter insertion, and IABP removal Manage patients with VA and VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant cases Must have active PA license Required certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) Required board certification : Critical Care Medicine Experience in a critical care cardiac ICU unit with advanced device management is essential Flexibility in scheduling is required Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking a Cardiology Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Dec 1, 2025. This position offers three 12-hour shifts per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing patients in a critical care cardiac ICU setting.
