Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based CT scan department 7 on / 7 off night schedule with 10-hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Weekend and on-call coverage is required Floating may be required to facilities within a 60-mile radius according to assignment needs Uses Epic for charting; experience with Epic preferred Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort Follow stringent radiation safety standards and ALARA principles Conduct IV starts and administer contrast as needed Serve as a clinical resource and participate in training for students or staff technologists Maintain equipment, complete required documentation, and ensure cleanliness of work areas Must be adaptable to changing technologies and workflow demands Annual flu vaccination required during flu season; only medical exemptions allowed Requirements Minimum of one year of related CT experience required High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred Current ARRT(R) (CT), ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), CNMT registry, or state CT registry required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required License required if applicable No local candidates accepted as travelers; must live more than 60 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625680.
