Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Certified Behavior Technician
School-Based | Kent, WA | 2025–2026 School Year
We are seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (also known in Washington as a Certified Behavior Technician) to join our school system team in Kent, WA for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students, teachers, and families in creating positive learning environments.
Position Details
Location : Kent, WA (school system setting)
Schedule : 32 hours per week, school-year calendar
Pay Range : $34–$36 per hour, based on experience
Contract Term : Entire 2025–2026 school year
Requirements
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) credential
Prior school-based or clinical RBT experience with strong professional references
Current CPR certification
Ability to pass fingerprinting / background check
Commitment to supporting students with professionalism, patience, and collaboration
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to reinforce behavior and learning goals
Provide direct support to students in classroom and school environments
Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
