As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas within a chemical or petrochemical location. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter unwanted incidents and promote a secure environment for personnel and assets. You will interact with site staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate : $17.09 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time Mon 04 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM Tue 04 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM Sun 04 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the chemical or petrochemical location, verifying identification and credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist with the enforcement of client rules, regulations, and procedures pertaining to access control and site security-related matters.
  • Operate security-related systems and equipment, such as access control devices, radios, and alarm systems, as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and concerns at the location.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a valid guard card or license, or be willing to obtain one if required by state and / or local regulations (preference given to candidates who already possess one).
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
