\n\nSUMMARY OF JOB : \n

Under the Direct supervision of the MRI Supervisor, performs examinations as outlined by Radiologist, utilizing the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanner for the purpose of diagnosis and / or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.

This tech will be responsible for performing MRI's , ensuring patient safety and paperwork. This tech will work a variable of hours.

\n\nRECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS : \n

• Graduate of a two year A.M.A. approved School of Radiologic Technology
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry Radiologic Technology) Certification
• Advanced MRI Certification required within one year after clinical requirements are met.
• Ability to scan MRI procedures independently
• Previous experience in cross sectional anatomy preferred.
• CPR Certified
• Basic knowledge of computers preferred
• Ability to take on call hours, weekends and Holidays, occasional weekday / evening.

LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS :

A.R.R.T. and / or A.R.M.R.I.T. Certifications

Must maintain 24 CEU's every two (2) years

One hour of annual stroke education
