A boutique consulting firm is seeking to bring on a Managing Director to join their Performance Improvement practice. This executive-level role is ideal for a seasoned operator and advisor with deep experience in driving operational transformation and financial optimization across private equity-backed businesses.

The Managing Director will serve as a strategic partner to private equity clients and portfolio company leadership, leading high-impact engagements focused on liquidity, performance, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead initiatives in Liquidity & Working Capital Optimization , Strategic Analytics & Planning , and Performance Measurement & Management to drive measurable impact.
• Diagnose key business challenges, forecast liquidity needs, and identify inefficiencies in financial / accounting processes and organizational design.
• Ensure findings and opportunities are clearly communicated and aligned with client expectations.
• Oversee project management and implementation, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and approaches are logical and achievable.
• Develop and execute plans to optimize working capital, improve transparency, and instill a liquidity-focused culture.
• Identify risks early, create contingency plans, and maintain proactive communication with clients.
• Drive business development efforts by cultivating relationships with private equity firms, identifying new opportunities, and expanding the firm's client base.

Location : Remote

Base pay range : $200,000.00 / yr - $350,000.00 / yr
