needed for a full-time, year+ contract

opportunity with Yoh's client located in Downtown Los Angeles, CA.
There's also the opportunity for you to be consiered for their long-term, full-time permanent opening!

The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. Very similar to working in an urgent care but you are only seeing adults and it is not fast-paced. Primary responsibilities include care and management of occupational injuries/illnesses, hearing conservation, and initial care of acute non-occupational illnesses.

--> Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm (30 min lunch) starting asap


Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of California
• Minimum (3) years' experience as a Nurse
• Trained in spirometry (NIOSH Certified)
• Audiometry testing (CAOHC/COHC Certified)
• DOT Breath Alcohol Testing and Urine Drug Collector Certification
• Must have previous experience in: Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections type setting

What You'll Be Doing:

• Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Administer first-aid
• Provide medical testing (occupational and health screening tests) such as: EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, drug testing, etc.
• Participate in plant safety and ergonomic programs
• Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
• Assist with DOT Medical Exams for DMV purposes
• Assist First Responders in medical emergencies

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• BLS/CPR certified
• Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace
• Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee
• Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills
