Job Summary
To enforce State Laws and City ordinances on PHR Campus. Provide a law enforcement presence in the ED and other assigned areas of the PHR Campus.

Essential Functions

Assists Security Services with enforcement of PH rules or regulations if requested.
Assists PH Security Services Officer if assistance is requested.
Completes official police incident and accident reports as they occur on PHR campus.
Provides a direct liaison with CPD and PH.
Provide a CPD vehicle on the PH campus as a deterrent
Patrols key areas (i.e. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit and other areas assigned by PH Security Services).
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory / Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma / highest degree earned
Experience - No experience required.

Current Certification in Basic Law Enforcement through the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy, currently employed by the City of Columbia Police Department.
