Job Description
Project Manager
The objective of the PM is to manage construction projects from preconstruction to end of project. It is to lead and coordinate efforts regarding crews, materials and subcontractors toward making the project flow smoothly from beginning to end while staying within budget.
- Supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule.
- Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved.
- Secure all required permits and verify insurance coverage for subs.
- Prepare subcontract agreements for Subcontractors who will be working on site.
- Process and get approval for all change orders and extra work required on the project.
- Schedule and facilitate all project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activity.
- Supervise and manage project team members.
- Train and develop direct reports utilizing the job and internal and external training or development opportunities.
- Have thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities; prepare and submit daily and weekly job status reports.
- Prepare and submit all monthly requisitions to clients and follow up on payment status / progression.
- Provide general administrative and technical leadership for the project. Maintain all project records and monitor correspondence.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on all project close out documents.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner and engineering firms.
- Participate in proposals and presentations as requested.

Minimum qualifications
Experience managing large commercial projects successfully from start to finish is required.5 yrs. or more of demolition / civil experienceSkilled at negotiating and developing relationships with owners and subcontractors.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team; minimum 2 years supervisory experienceStrong work ethics and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Passion for the work and industry a must.Bachelor of Science in relevant field preferred but not required.Excellent compensation package.
