Position Summary : We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Grants Manager. The Grants Manager (GM), in conjunction with the Division Administrator (DA), will lead all aspects of pre and post award processes in support of the Principal Investigator (PI) and their investigational team. The incumbent will actively engage in overseeing a large research portfolio comprised of NIH awards, industry sponsored clinical trials and private foundation grants. The GM will also oversee an equally significant philanthropic portfolio for donor directed research. They will ensure that portfolios remain financially viable and that projects are in compliance with all applicable institutional and federal regulatory policies. The GM will also directly supervise the Grant Specialist.

Minimum Qualifications : To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in Business, Health Administration or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in an academic medical center or in government or other significant health-related non-profit or the equivalent in combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of SF424 Guidelines and NIH Grant Policy Statement is a must. Demonstrated knowledge of grant submission processes including preparing, completing, and collecting required paperwork and necessary signatures for federal and non-federal grant applications. The successful candidate must also have a thorough understanding of policies and procedures to ensure that research practices are in accordance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are essential to interact effectively with diverse internal and external professional groups and sponsors. Candidate must have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines for grant submissions, and manage several projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications : Prior supervisory experience is desired.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $120,393.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
