American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Seaside, Oregon.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient rural health clinic with at least 1 year of outpatient PT experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient PT setting in a rural health clinic
  • Primary patient population includes post-op ortho, general pain, neuro, falls / balance, and vestibular cases
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 12
  • No floating between units within the same facility, but floating may be required to sister facilities nearby
  • Day shifts offered, flexible scheduling options of 4x10 or 5x8 hour days
  • No weekend or on-call shifts required
  • Epic EMR is used; prior experience with Epic is required
  • Scrub color is flexible; any color accepted
  • Main responsibilities include providing physical therapy assessments and treatments to a varied outpatient caseload
  • Must be willing to float to nearby sister facilities if needed
  • Pre-assignment and annual online training modules must be completed
  • Return staff must have a break of at least 3 months between permanent employment and travel assignments
  • Applicants must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Maximum of 6 days of requested time off will be auto-approved; additional requests may delay offer
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the full travel rate

    • Requirements

  • Current PT license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Experience with Epic EMR is required
  • Two supervisory references from within the last three years are required for consideration
  • Must have a vehicle for travel between facilities
