What You'll Do
Develops and implements commercial business development / marketing plan to meet and / or exceed the calling and business closed goals and objectivesArranges for and conducts public contact initiatives designed to identify new business services prospects including but not limited to cold calling, networking, and use of social media professional networksMaintains a high level of understanding of credit union products, especially those related to business account activityInterviews business account members with loan and member service needs to determine how the credit union can meet their financial needsPrepares and delivers business loan requests to the business lending partner for reviewActively seeks ways to promote the credit union's business products to the community. Promotes goodwill through such community events and at public, social, and business gatheringsPosition Requirements
A Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong analytical abilitiesExcellent member service skillsHighly motivated and goal orientedGood communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skillsValid driver's licenseCandidate should possess a solid foundation in business lending and credit analysis and ability to meet production and portfolio goals. Candidate should have a deep understanding of commercial credit principles, risk assessment, and loan structuring, as well as experience developing business relationships with members and commercial clientsThis individual must be available for scheduling during Credit Union operating hours. Staffing assignments are periodically adjusted to meet business needs. This position could be transferred to another office in the same geographic region at any time.
