Job Description

Paint Prep Assembler

The Paint Prep Assembler plays a crucial role in preparing pumping units and accessory equipment for painting. This responsibility ensures paint adhesion and functionality. Additionally, the assembler is responsible for the re-assembly and decaling of units and / or accessory equipment post-painting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Disassemble and safely store components from both newly fabricated and refurbished equipment.
• Effectively mask equipment using tape and masking materials to prepare for painting.
• Employ techniques such as power washing, sanding, and grinding to refurbish and repaint equipment.
• Reassemble equipment and accurately apply vinyl labels in line with production and / or customer specifications.
• Operate a forklift to move equipment in and out of preparation and paint booth areas.

Compensation and Benefits :

The estimated pay range for this position is $18-22 per hour. The starting pay rate is determined by various factors, including skills, experience, and work location.
