Job descriptionPosition Type : Contract Contract Duration : 3 months Start : As Soon As Possible Pay Rate : $25 / hr Shift : Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 : 30 PM Perform accurate and timely specimen collection and processing according to established procedures. Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment that ensures patient comfort and trust. Verify patient identification, confirm correct labeling, and obtain signatures as required post-venipuncture. Accurately document patient interactions, specimen handling, and test data. Perform both clinical and forensic collections , adhering to all confidentiality and safety standards. Support multiple patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy locations as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, safety, and quality control policies. Maintain supplies, prepare daily logs, and coordinate with lab and administrative staff to meet deadlines. Promote the company's culture of process excellence, professionalism, and superior customer service. Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. High school diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA). Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Data entry and keyboarding skills required. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment. Customer service experience in retail or healthcare settings. Experience with point-of-care testing and hospital credentialing. Phlebotomy and Specimen Collection Patient Communication Data Entry and Record Accuracy Pediatric and Geriatric Phlebotomy HIPAA Compliance Process Improvement and Safety Awareness Ability to multitask in high-volume settings Reliable transportation and flexibility for multiple site coverage Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR II) serves as the frontline representative for patients and healthcare professionals. In this role, you will draw high-quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining a professional, safe, and compassionate patient experience. This position requires excellent communication, phlebotomy expertise, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
