Presidio Bay Ventures, Inc. (“PBV”) is a real estate investment and development firm headquartered in San Francisco. Our team focuses on sourcing and structuring unique, value-add investment opportunities that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns, with primary expertise in the new construction and major renovation of complex, large-scale office, multifamily, and other special-use facilities. PBV is seeking to hire one or more Floating Maintenance Technicians to support its expanding Bay Area portfolio of multifamily properties. These individuals will play a vital role in delivering a hospitality-driven living experience across PBV’s buildings by providing high-quality maintenance support, ensuring asset preservation, and responding promptly to service needs while upholding PBV’s standard of excellence.
As part of Presidio Bay Ventures’ growing portfolio of high-profile projects, the successful candidates will work closely with senior leadership and on-site management teams to ensure each property reflects PBV’s commitment to service, community, and design. This is a full-time, salaried position with an expected base salary range of $65,000-$72,800 , with final compensation determined by experience and qualifications.

Respond to maintenance and service requests with urgency and professionalism, ensuring timely, high-quality resolution in alignment with company standards.Maintain the community’s exceptional appearance by proactively inspecting and caring for all areas of the property - including grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interior common areas, market-ready units, offices, signage, waste / recycling areas, and parking lots - and promptly reporting any concerns or safety hazards.Prepare apartment homes for new resident move-ins as directed by the Head of Maintenance, completing a variety of maintenance tasks such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, flooring care, and detailed cleaning to ensure they meet PBV’s “move-in ready” standard.Conduct thorough pre-move-out and post-move-out inspections, documenting the condition of the unit with photos and clear, organized notes.Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and replace smart-lock batteries and related components to ensure reliable access for residents and team members.Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked maintenance shop, tools, and equipment; request replacements when needed and contribute to effective inventory control.Assist with coordinating, scheduling, and overseeing vendor and contractor work as needed, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and community standards.Follow up with residents after service requests to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and escalate any unresolved concerns for swift resolution.Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of new Maintenance Technicians, contributing to a culture of teamwork, shared learning, and service excellence.Deliver a hospitality-driven experience to all residents, prospects, vendors, and team members by representing the community with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach.Uphold high standards for the cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal of the community’s buildings, grounds, and common areas, helping to maintain PBV’s professional brand image.Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled, responding to after-hours emergencies with urgency, sound judgment, and a resident-first mindset.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance and promote a safe working and living environment.Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by leadership.Please send all inquiries to careers@presidiobay.com with your name and open job position in the subject header.
