Stew Leonard's, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew's earned its nickname, the "Disneyland of Dairy Stores" because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Position Overview

Position : Garden Shop Assistant

Pay : $16.50 / hr. + earning $1 / hour toward your school

Age Requirement : Must be 16 years or older

Position Description : The Garden Shop Assistant interacts directly with customers helping them select their perfect gardening plants and answer questions about the different varieties we sell. The position also entails cleaning and organizing the Garden Shop. This is the place for the individual who loves the outdoors. This department is perfect for someone who likes to work with their hands and get them dirty!
