We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Senior Associate to join the team in our Denver, CO office. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans
• Illustrate budgets and schedules
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CR team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
• CPA, JD or EA preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years tax experience in a public accounting firm
• Affordable Housing Industry experience preferred
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Strong tax research and writing skills
• Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Competence with tax compliance and research software to include Go Systems, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH, RIA
• Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task

In Colorado, the salary range for a Tax Senior Associate is $80,000 to $115,000. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
