Our client in Wilmington, DE is seeking a licensed Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager. This position will entail the responsibilities of a Commercial Lines Account Manager with an assigned book of business. The primary function of this position is to provide quality service to clients and ensure efficient processing of renewals and new business. The Account Manager will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company and designated accounts.

• Build and maintain constructive relationships with clients by meeting and exceeding expectations
• Responsible for gathering information and risk management recommendations for the renewal of designated accounts prior to renewal and for delivering renewals / binders for designated accounts.
• Negotiate with carriers for pricing
• Know the underwriting and rating procedure for all types of commercial lines products
• Quote and sell commercial line policies
• Prepare proposals and applications, submit them to insured and carriers, obtain clients" signatures on all applications, communicate to ensure timely responses, all in conjunction with Producer
• Agency billing and follow-up on outstanding claims, assisting in their resolution as necessary
• Reviews terminations and cancellations to determine action to be taken. Takes needed action within 72 hours of receipt.
• Maintain and record accurate documentation
• Actively seeks referrals for new business prospects, follows up to generate new business through networking and current client base.
• Follows all systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations.

Summer Fridays. -the staff rotates on Fridays during the Summer and gets to leave early. (everyone receives 2 half days-schedules permitting)
