This position is ideal for compassionate, skilled nurses who are confident in providing exceptional care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Key Responsibilities : Manage and assist in labor and delivery for a 19-bed unit (100–200 births / month). Provide neonatal and postpartum care , including APGAR scoring, resuscitation, and breastfeeding support. Perform and interpret vaginal exams, fetal monitoring (EFM), and NSTs . Administer medications such as Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, and antihypertensives . Float as required to Postpartum / Mother Baby Unit . Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT, RT, Radiology, and Pharmacy. Certifications Required : BLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate ( AWHONN Advanced preferred ) Experience : Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required. Epic charting experience required.
