Security Engineer

Job Overview Saronic is seeking a talented Security Engineer to help design, implement, and maintain our organizations cybersecurity stack. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security controls and solutions across our products and systems. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting us from and mitigating risks to our groundbreaking ASV technology.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement security controls across corporate, production, and cloud environments
• Design, implement and manage security controls for systems, networks, and applications in alignment with CMMC, Zero Trust, NIST, FIPS, and DoD directives.
• Evaluate and harden SaaS, IaaS, and internal applications against real-world adversarial techniques
• Partner with IT, engineering, and compliance teams to align security controls with evolving business and regulatory needs
• Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and threat modeling to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Integrate security measures into the full lifecycle of product developmentfrom initial design through to production.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including security protocols, policies, reference architectures and data flow diagrams.
• Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity within the organization, mentoring team members and providing technical guidance.
