Supply Chain Management Governance Role
This position is in Supply Chain Management supporting governance across supplier, contract, procurement, and inventory management. This role will be responsible for regular controls review, monitoring, and reporting for these governance areas to provide assurance for supply chain practices. Additionally, this role is involved in strategic efforts to revise controls and related documents as well as change management (e.g., communication, training) associated with existing and new best practices and expectations.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills) :
- Bachelor's degree (Required) preferred discipline in Engineering or Business Management
- Advanced degree (Preferred)
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in supply chain, governance, risk, compliance, and / or controls (Required)
- Experience in project management (Required)
- Experience with change management across diverse stakeholders
- Experience developing a strategy and implementing across a cross-functional stakeholder group
- Experience with systems such as Maximo, Oracle, and Smart by GEP
- Experience successfully working across matrix organizations
- Experience facilitating communications and influencing decisions
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements

Manage the SCM control framework to provide governance and assurance that supplier, contract, procurement, and inventory management practices meet expectations.Maintain SCM policies / procedures to support evolving business practices and risks.Develop, document and communicate changes in policies / procedures including managing Governance content on the SCM website.Coordinate internal controls monitoring / testing process for SCM; work with internal and external controls / auditing groups to support additional monitoring and testing for SCM.Facilitate development of remediation plans for SCM functions and conduct follow up reviews.Develop and maintain metric reports for monitoring governance effectiveness over time.Establish and maintain advisory relationships with SCM functional leadership teams (e.g., contracts, procurement, etc.) to review governance effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and provide governance guidance as needed.Manage specific projects and efforts in support of SCM Governance (e.g., new control, analysis related to governance aspect of process). These activities typically require project management-level coordination to identify stakeholders, establish objectives, manage overall schedule, and communicate progress and results.
