Locum Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care & Occupational Health

📍 Christiansburg, Danville, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Martinsville, Roanoke, Staunton, Winchester, VA

🕒  3x12 Hour Shifts Weekly | Ongoing Coverage | Rotating Weekends

💰  $140 / hr | Local Providers Only | Mileage Reimbursed

Join a high-functioning  Urgent Care clinic  in  Roanoke, VA , providing  episodic and injury care  to a diverse patient population from children to geriatrics. The Nurse Practitioner will work  autonomously , with a  supervising physician available by phone . Ideal for NPs who thrive in fast-paced, independent care settings.

🔹  Position Details :

Setting :  Urgent Care + Occupational Health

Coverage Need :  Ongoing / as-needed

Schedule :  Minimum 36 hours / week (3x12s) with rotating weekends

EMR :  Anthem

Procedures :  Episodic care, minor injury treatment

Patient Demographics :  Pediatric to Geriatric

Supervision :  Physician available remotely by phone

✅  Requirements :

Board Certified NP (ANCC or AANP)  –  Required

Active Virginia License  –  Required

BLS Certification  –  Required

Must be local to Roanoke, VA  –  Required

Must commit to 36 hours per week  –  Required

Rate cap :   $140 / hr –  Required

🚗  Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate for local providers only.
