Work Schedule : Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions : Office

Job Description : The Sales Representative, BioProduction is a field-based, work from home opportunity, with occasional visits to customer sites. All viable candidates must live in or near the territory and be able to meet the travel requirement. This role will support incoming customer inquiries for an assigned territory, and engage with both tactical and strategic customers that are not assigned to Field Bioproduction Account Managers. Primary customers include pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, Animal Health, R&D, cGMP, medical device, environmental, and research universities / institutions.

Responsibilities :

• Lead tactical customer calls, quote inquiries, product inquiries, documentation requirements to strengthen business for assigned customers
• Design and implement a detailed business plan with strategies to win business and drive growth
• Engage directly with potential clients to increase customer engagement
• Grow the territory focusing on meeting an assigned Annual Operating Target
• Apply effective sales strategies to proactively seek out sales opportunities
• Apply knowledge and understanding of the Company's operational processes, market position, and competition to identify and qualify leads, prospects, and incoming inquiries that fit our strategic objectives
• Engage with Suppliers, Fisher Scientific, Production Chemicals, and the BioProduction Group to support needs through our supply chain services
• Prepare quotes and related documentation to maintain updated customer profile information in Salesforce contact management

Compensation and Benefits : The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $24.49$36.73. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and / or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
