Position Summary
As a Server (Dietary Aide), you are a front-line ambassador of our hospitality-driven dining program. Your role is to serve meals with warmth, attentiveness, and pride, creating a joyful, restaurant-style experience in a senior living setting. You support not just nutrition, but connection, dignity, and delight — every meal, every time.
Key Responsibilities
Serve meals to residents in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
Learn residents’ names, preferences, and special dietary needs
Practice “hospitality-first” service by offering personal touches, such as remembering a favorite beverage or meal choice
Prepare dining room for service : setting tables, stocking stations, and ensuring cleanliness
Assist in plating, portioning, and delivering meals from the kitchen with presentation in mind
Clean dining and service areas post-meal, including tables, chairs, and floors
Support hydration stations, snack carts, and special occasion events
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure accuracy of diets and textures, per clinical staff direction
Communicate with nursing and care teams to support residents with special needs or challenges (e.g., vision, mobility, cognition)
Report any resident concerns, safety hazards, or food complaints to the Dining Director

Requirements
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or caregiving preferred but not required
Passion for working with seniors in a compassionate, person-centered way
Ability to follow dietary guidelines and communicate clearly with kitchen and care staff
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and move between dining rooms
Must pass background check and health screening per Colorado assisted living regulations
Willingness to complete training in food safety and elder dining best practices

We offer part-time roles with consistent weekly schedules :
Part-Time :
Wednesday - Sunday
3 : 30 PM – 8 : 30 PM
Weekend availability is required for all positions.
