• Citizenship Requirements : Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Clearance Requirements : National Background Check with Inquiries, Fingerprints, and Drug Screen.
• Type of Employment : Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
• Period of Performance : Base Year plus four (4) Option Years
• Estimate Pay : $28.18 33.27 / hour.
• Paid Time Off per Year : Up to 80 hours per year, occurring on day one.
• Sick Leave per Year : Up to 56 hours per year, occurring on day one.
• Paid Federal Holidays : Eleven (11) Paid Federal Holidays

Working Hours

The Radiologic Technologist will normally work from Monday through Thursday from 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The Pharmacy Technician will not work more than 40 hours a week.

Summary of Duties

Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures with precision, professionalism, and adherence to established protocols. This includes specimen identification, labeling, and handling to support diagnostic testing and patient care. The Phlebotomist interacts directly with patients, providing compassionate service while maintaining infection control standards and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

Attire

The contractor is expected to wear professional clothing while on duty (scrub uniforms are approved). The attire worn shall also be appropriate for the correctional environment in which the BPA employee will be performing. The contractor is prohibited from wearing khaki or green, as this is the color of clothing the adults in custody wear.

The current radiological equipment provided at FCC Yazoo City is a digital machine.
