Company has been in business since 1982 providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users. Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver Non CDL Route Delivery to work in our distribution warehouse within 30 miles of Bartlett, IL.
Compensation - Average annual salary $55,000-$65,000 per year which includes :
Hourly wage of $19.50 per hourOvertime paid after 40 hours per weekTypical work week is 45-55 hours per weekSafety shoes required; $250 vouchers provided per year.Weekly paychecks Benefits - Eligible 1 st of the month following 60 day probation periodMedical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Life

Start times typically 7 : 00am; work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per dayNo layovers, home every dayRedeliveries and same-day deliveries within 150-mile radius of Bartlett, ILMust be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs ResponsibilitiesFingerprint 400-900 cases per day, highly physical, touch freight.
Some deliveries require going up and down stairs.Work in refrigerated environments inside and outdoor elements, year-round.Secure loads using load straps before and after every stop.Route delivery, driver unload using ramp and 2-wheel hand cartTouch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to restaurants, schools, and end usersDrive 15' box truck to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinationsSecure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.Document pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsManage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT complianceUse of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnight deliveriesProvide excellent customer serviceChecking mechanical aspects of the vehicleReporting maintenance / repair issues on tractors and trailers RequirementsMust be a minimum of 21 years old
Hold a valid Driver's License from state of IllinoisLocal, multiple-stop delivery using ramp and hand cart in the city of Chicago highly preferred.Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screenBe in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of sensesAble to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoorsLegally eligible to work in the U.S.Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand EnglishMust pass pre-hire drug screen and physicalBe able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistanceApply Below or Give us a call at 877-586-0721
