Breast Surgery Physician Assistant Opening Cooperstown, New YorkLocation : Cooperstown, NYPosition Type : Full-TimePosition Overview : Seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our established General Surgery team of 10 Surgeons and 6 Advanced Practice Clinicians. This role focuses on comprehensive breast surgery patient care within a collaborative and supportive environment.Responsibilities : Provide care in clinic, hospital, and assist with call coverageSupport surgeons with pre- and post-operative management of breast surgery patientsParticipate in patient education and ongoing coordination of careCollaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure high-quality outcomesPrevious surgical experience, particularly in breast surgery, preferred (3-5 years)Compensation & Incentives : Salary Range : $124,332 - $139,000 plus performance-based compensation Based on qualifications, experience, and market evaluation Sign-on bonus up to $50,000Supportive transition bonusComprehensive benefits package including : - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Retirement plan - CME allowance (time and funding) - Paid malpractice insurance - Generous paid time offJob Qualifications : National Certification as a Physician AssistantActive New York State LicensureBLS CertificationDEA required Estimated pay range / amount is Negotiable.
