Summary :

Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Responsible for professional accountability and development. Position fills daily needs within an assigned region and required to take assignments based upon regional needs. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Other information :

Required experience is 2 years Acute Care / Specialty. Requires ACLS (Cardiovascular) certification within 30 days for internal transfers. ACLS certification not applicable to "Behavioral Health and Med-Surg / Tele specialty areas.

Scheduled by the SRO. Floats within their assigned region hospitals every shift. Assigned hospital 2 hours prior to the start of the shift by the SRO staffing team based upon the most critical need for the shift.
