About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Duration : 16 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 5 years in echocardiography, preferably including inpatient settings.

License : Valid state license required; pending state license accepted.

Certifications : BLS required, RDCS-Adult preferred; RCS considered with strong experience.

Must-Have : Experience with EPIC charting system; critical thinking, strong time management, and physical endurance.

Description :

Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer for a 4x10 day schedule.

The hours are from 07 : 00 to 17 : 30, with the exception of a rotating Saturday shift from 07 : 30 to 16 : 00.

There is an additional day off during the same week for working on a Saturday.

Unplanned absences may need to be made up on different days of the same week as applicable.

Candidate must be willing to cover Saturdays and participate in holiday rotation.

Strong preference for left-handed scanning due to room setup and ergonomic recommendations.

General skills required include experience with PACS, Bubble Study, and GE equipment.

Experience with M-Mode, contrast agents, and adult acute care is preferred.

Vascular experience is not needed nor counted towards the required 5 years of echo experience.

The position requires analysis and management of high daily volumes and complex patient pathologies.

Candidates must adhere to specific grooming rules during employment.

Agency staff will not participate in stress testing or TEE coverage.

Candidates will float within the service line as necessary.
