POSITION SUMMARY :
Primary responsibilities include, adjusting inventory levels with counts and communicating the need for order placement. Assisting others in materials department as needed.
FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Verifies the accuracy of inventory quantities daily by cycle-counting items within storage locations.
- Researches and reconciles variances.
- Performs root cause and corrective actions to minimize stock variances.
- Utilizes existing materials reports to monitor safety stock and consumption.
- Properly record transactions and mark / identify material / product
- Checks incoming shipments of assigned product family
- Crosstrain, and provide necessary support for all warehouse and stockroom practices
- Support high emphasis on safe practices
