RESPONSIBILITIES : Mammography. Perform and / or assists diagnostic, screening, ultrasound and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) activities under the direct supervision of the mammography QA Technologist; monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all quality standards are metGeneral Maintenance. Monitor equipment for proper performance and functionality; clean, restock and prepare examination rooms on a daily basisDocumentation. Complete all necessary documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and / or patient chartsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent. NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) required within six months of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Prior Radiologic Technologist experience. ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work various software applications. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
